Te Reo Term 1

In week 10 we learnt about a marae, we learnt how to welcome people and we sang twinkle twinkle little star to welcome people. We got split into half ,some people would welcome them in and the other half would walk in. We were there for half an hour.

Keeping Ourselves Safe

I'm Learning to make safe decisions.


I'm learning this because I want to learn how to be safe on the internet because I go on everyday.


An example of a safe decision is when I see a virus I'll shut the lid and show someone then they can fix it.

Multicultural Week 2017

I enjoyed Multicultural Week because we got to learn about Israel, Russia, Paris and Japan. In Israel we learnt about the dead sea and the dead sea heals people

My Reflection

In Reflection Something I need to remember is remembering what i'm going to say.

PE:Term 4

WALT: Do a scissor jump

 I learned How to figure out which leg I need to jump with and it's my Left.

Here is an example of my learning I'll jump over the 75 or 85 cm pole/bar and land of the mat

 Next time I will Jump over the 85 cm pole/bar without knocking the pole/bar down

PE Term 3

WALT: Throw Strike and kick large balls

I learned How to throw a ball properly

I achieved my goal because I can catch a ball with confidence

Next time I will Have even more confidence

Maths Term 3

WALT: Know my groupings within 1000

I learned how to do problems like: 278+832=1000

Here is an example of my learning: This is the maths question 479+    =1000

Next time I will try work out harder problems like 361+     =2000

Visual Art Term 2/3

WALT: To create a mosaic picture using pastel and Indian ink

 I learned how to make a mosaic picture using dark pastel

 I achieved my goal because I used nice neat lines for my pastel.

 Next time I will press harder on the chalk so I don't rub it off easily

Te Reo Term 2

WALT: Introduce ourselves in Te Reo.

I learned how to say my full Mihi with paper.

I achieved my goal because I could say all of my Mihi and I thought I could not do it.

Next time I will try to learn it off by heart by practicing at least once a week until I am good at it.

WALT: Infer meaning from the text.

I learned infer reading into your book from other information.

I achieved my goal because I inferred reading information into my book with the word bank and clever sentences.

Next time I will not rush and make it messy but get it done at the end of the week.
